If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd cry. This post card may be a funny prank on a non-believer now, but one day it could become a reality. During a zombie apocalypse you can't always save your friends and family, and when are cornered sometimes you have to make a tough decision. Just remember it's not your sweet grandma that used to bring you cookies anymore. That old lady wants to suck your brains out your head through a straw. It's ok to be upset but take the shot.

So I gave ya'll the run down on some advanced techniques for surviving the zombie apocalypse to come but that doesn't matter if you don't survive the beginning of the 1st outbreak. So here are some basics of living a little longer. Preparation In the words of Benjamin Franklin, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure", therefore a little preparation before hand is worth its weight in gold by the time of the outbreak. I would recommend some maps of the area you live in with important locations you will need (i.e. fresh water, food, guns, etc.) Never barricade yourself in a room with only one exit and always have a back up escape plan. Your friends and family may think you're paranoid but they'll come running when they find out you were right. Run before Gun Generally a zombie is limited to the physical limitations of what its' body was capable of before death. If you are in somewhat decent shape you can most likely escape the attack by running away. If you engage you allow time for another zombie to arrive and open the possibility for infection. So the movies have been done a hundred times and we've  all seen them, but are we really prepared? To be the badass that actually manages to survive isn't as easy as it looks. Lets face it, most of us don't know martial arts, have a weapon arsenal in our basement, or a bunker full of supplies to fall back on. We are all the of those people you see having their brains eaten at the beginning of the movie. I'm not gonna lie, even if the average joe did get his hands on a shotgun and boards up his windows the hoards would eventually overrun him when his ammo got low. Well conventional warfare is not the most effective means of battle a horde of undead soldier. Mother nature set up a pattern for life and you can tap that reservoir with a little bit of preparation.
