RedLaser was the iPhone barcode scanner back in the day, but lately there has been some new competitors in the appstore. To stay competitive RedLaser has became a free app. Which app will you use to find the best deals and save money?  Here is a side by side comparison of RedLaser to one of it’s competitors pic2shop.

Personally I feel like pic2shop has much more potential and features than RedLaser but does not have the professional feel that Redlaser does. I also have a harder time trying to scan things with pic2shop and it seems to be slightly less accurate. For now RedLaser is still on top, but it may not be much longer
